Orders, Packing and Shipping

 

 

ORDERS

When you place an order, you will have the option to create a customer username and password. By signing-up as a customer, you will assist in ensuring that any future orders you place will be dispatched as quickly and efficiently as possible. You can also order without creating a customer account, by selecting to sign in as a guest.

 

PACKING

We go to great lengths to ensure our stock is checked, packaged and sent with the care and consideration to our valued customers. We aim to minimise plastic waste when sending out orders. We reuse some wrapping and packaging materials from our suppliers. We encourage you to recycle and/or dispose of soft plastics at Redcycle drop off points (located out front of two major supermarket chains). 

 

SHIPPING

We send via Australia Post with tracking. Flat rate postage is applied to items at the checkout. FREE standard shipping is applied for orders to the value of $99 and over. Once shipped, Moonlight Made omits responsibility for loss of or damage to items. Please contact us if an item has damaged during transit or upon arrival, We will try to assist you in resolving the issue, where possible. 

 

Subject to payment of your order, property and risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery of the goods to your nominated delivery address. Once products are dispatched, being available to receive the delivery is the responsibility of the customer. If the item is returned due to incorrect address or inability to deliver, subsequent postage attempts will be at the expense of the customer. We are not liable for any products not received due to an incorrect shipping address being provided. Hence, please ensure that you enter the correct shipping address at the time of placing an order.

 

HANDLING & DELIVERY TIMES

 

DUE TO CURRENT weather circumstances across Australia,  Australia Post are experiencing delays, so your item may take extra time than usual to arrive. Express Post parcels are being prioritised and are still the fastest delivery option but do not have guaranteed time frames for expected delivery.

Seasonal and/or Public holidays - Please note we will NOT be dispatching orders from 19th December 2022 to January 4th 2023. Please take this into account when placing an order with us. 

Some Moonlight Made products are custom made to order and therefore have a 2- 4 weeks turnaround time. All products are handmade and so require a little more time to create and sew than mass-produced items. Shipping and turnaround times are stated at the bottom of each individual listing. Often, products are shipped faster than stated times.

 

While we endeavour to deliver our products promptly, delivery times are estimated only and factors beyond our control may result in delays. We accept no liability for damages or losses as a result of any such delays. If there an issue, please contact us and we will assist in attempts to resolving the problem, where possible. 

 

If there are any delays to your order before postage, we will notify you immediately via email.  

 

Orders shipped within Australia should be received within 2-7 business days after dispatch, but as this depends on your location, please check the Australia Post website to estimate delivery time, as during peak times this estimate can vary greatly. Please note that we are not liable for any deliveries not received in this time frame, as they exist as a guide only. Lost items will be replaced at our discretion, on a case by case basis.

 

During the ordering process, please ADD ‘Express Post’ if you need a product delivered quickly, which will incur an additional cost. This add on is found in the dropdown box of "Shipping Options" of the items listing. You will only need to add it once to one or all items ordered.
